The lubricant

Not just cutting oil. A system lubricant.

OMSecolube is blended specifically for the Ogale ecosol aerosol generator. It's formulated to atomise consistently at the micro-quantities MQL demands. Ogale recommends it for warranted performance across the ecosol range. Use of an unapproved lubricant may cause performance issues or damage for which Ogale is not responsible, and may void warranty coverage.

The base is more than 99% vegetable oil ester. The additive package contains solid friction and wear reducing agents, plus natural antioxidants, in combination totalling no more than 0.3% w/w. The result is an oil formulated for cutting-edge performance, dry recyclable chips, and standard shop-floor handling with safety glasses as minimum PPE.

Lubricant mist

Avoid unnecessary inhalation of lubricant mist. Fume extraction is recommended as good practice for any aerosol application.

Skin and eye contact

Avoid prolonged or repeated skin and eye contact. Safety glasses are recommended for normal handling.

Spills

Clean spills promptly, as surfaces may become slippery. Prevent from reaching drains, sewers, or waterways, and follow local laws for disposal.

Storage

Keep the container closed when not in use. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from sunlight.

Intended use

Use only as intended with suitable MQL equipment. Recommended for use in Ogale ecosol MQL systems. Check compatibility with Ogale before using it in other MQL systems or machine tools. Rotary feedthrough couplings must be compatible with vegetable ester-based lubricants.

Chip disposal

Chips machined with OMSecolube are dry and corrosion-free. No coolant carryover. Chips can be directly recycled without washing, saving water and reducing disposal cost.
